The first communities and artels were organized in the village in 1923. Vytachiv Committee of Poor Peasants was headed by I.I. Bodryi. In 1930, two collective farms were organized: “The 2nd Five-Year Plan” and “The First of May”. At that time, there were had 308 farmsteads and 1,800 inhabitants in the village. During collectivization, 6 families were dekulakized. The Holodomor genocide took about 350 lives in Vytachiv. The names of 32 people killed by starvation were established due to the interviews with survivors.
In 2000, a metal memorial cross was erected at the mass grave.
