There were 579 farmsteads in Velyki and Mali Dmytrovychi villages, where 3,000 people lived. About 500 people died during the Holodomor genocide: in Velyki Dmytrovychi about 400 people, in the village of Mali Dmytrovychi about 100 people. The survey of old-timers established the names of 38 people.
As of now, one mass grave of the Holodomor victims is known. It is located in a village cemetery. In 1993, a marble memorial to the victims of the Holodomor was erected there.
