Holodomor witness Volodymyr Pobidash (born in 1926) remembers about this mass grave. He said, “They dug a kagat and brought people there. Not everyone was able to dig a pit. They came, the car was on this cart, and they put my aunt there and took her to the cemetery. They threw her down from the cart, she fell there and sat there.”
