The information about the mass grave of the Holodomor genocide victims in Kharliivka village was given by local historian Vasyl Zarichnyi.
In 1932-1933, Kharliivka belonged to Kharliivka village council of Popilnia district of Kyiv region. According to the data of village council, in 1932-1933, at least 248 local residents died of hunger. The list of their names was created on the basis of the testimonies of the eyewitnesses L.Vitenko, N.Didyk, N.Dubovenko, V.Lishchynskyi, M.Prokopets.
On the mass grave, the memorial sign was installed.
