The population of Prymorske village (Vasylivskyi district, Zaporizka region) suffered from the 1932-1933 Holodomor in Ukraine.
The bodies of those killed by famine were buried in the center of the village in the common pit at the cemetery near the St.Nicholaus Church. The number of buried is unknown. There is no official data.
On November 18, 2007, over the mass grave, the monument to the 1932-1933 Holodomor victims was installed. It is the wooden cross 3 meters high on the basis made from granite (1 meter high). On the stone, there is a memorial sign “For the Memory of the Victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933.”
