The population of Kamianske village (Vasylivskyi district, Zaporizka region) suffered from the 1932-1933 Holodomor in Ukraine.
In the center of the village, at two cemeteries, there are several mass graves, where more than 300 local citizens killed by starvation are buried. The third part of them are children under 16 years old. Near the cemetery at Tavriiska street, the memorial sing to the Holodomor victims was installed in October of 2006.
