The population of Trostianets town (Trostianetskyi district, Sumska region) suffered from the Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933.
The mass burial place of the Holodomor victims is located in the forest near Michurina Street. The large pit was excavated there, where the bodies of the dead were thrown. The number of the dead and their surnames are not established. Over the burial, the memorial cross was installed.
