The population of Ryzyne village (Zvenyhorodskyi district, Cherkaska region) suffered from the Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933 in Ukraine.
At the cemetery, there is the mass burial of the Holodomor victims. The eyewitnesses say, that there was a large pit, where the dead were thrown. At the mass burial place, the memorial sign was installed.
