The population of Chereshenka village (Derazhnianskyi district, Khmelnytska region) suffered from the Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933.
According to different sources, in 1932-1933 about 32 people died in the village. Nowadays 30 of them are identified.
The mass burial is located at the village cemetery. Over the mass grave, the wooden cross was installed in 1995.
