The population of Tsvitkove urban-type settlement (Horodyshchenskyi district, Charkaska region) suffered from Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933 in Ukraine.

Starting from 1913, Tsvitkove became an important railway station.

According to the testimonies of local inhabitants, a lot of people died during the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in the village. Besides the corpses of locals, who were killed by starvation, every day the dead and half-alive people were brought by the drays from the railway station.

At the cemetery, the big pits were excavated, and the corpses were brought there. Nowadays, these pits are fallen in, so it is possible to establish their approximate amount.
