The population of Krymka village (Pervvomaiskyi district, Mykolaivska region) suffered from Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933 in Ukraine. 206 persons killed by starvation were identified. At the cemetery, at the place of mass burial of Holodomor victims, the memorial cross was installed in 1996. Its authors and inspirators are V.A. Kryzhanovskyi, V.F. Zaiats, P.D. Bakshanskyi, A. Z. Osadchyi.
