The population of Kamianyi Mist village (Pervomaiskyi district, Mykolaivska region) suffered from Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933 in Ukraine. 182 persons killed by starvation are identified. In March of 2006, at the cemetery, at the mass grave of Holodomor victims, the Kamianyi Mist village council installed the monument.
