The population of Medvedivka village (Chyhyrynskyi district, Cherkaska region) suffered from Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. Athe the cemetery in the village, there is the place of mass burial of Holodomor of 1932-1933 victims. Voskoboinyk Pavlo Zakharovych and Zhuk Nadiia Lohvynivna initiated the installation of memorial sign at the mass grave. In 1991, the mound was heaped up and the metal cross with the sign “For the victims of Holodmor and political repressions. People! Be careful! Do not forget! Do not forgive! Eternal memory to them!”
