The population of Tekucha village (Umanskyi district, Cherkaska region) suffered from Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. The names of 125 persons, killed by hunger, were established. The place of mass burial of Holodomor-genocide victims is located at the end of the cemetery. Local authorities, together with the inhabitants of the village, installed the monument for Holodomor victims.
