The population of Vakhutyntsi village (Myronivskyi district, Kyivska region) suffered from the Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933.
In 1930, a collective farm named after Budyonny was created in the village. Demian Demianovych Shevchenko was dekulakized. During the 1932-1933 the Holodomor, more than 112 people died in the village. Only 23 persons are identified, 5 of them are children.
In 2007, at the mass burial place, located at the village cemetery, the marble monument to the Holodomor victims was installed.
