The population of Bezuhliaky (Skvyrskyi district, Kyivska region) suffered from Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. The eyewitnesses of Holodomor told that the general number of people who died from starvation was about 300 persons. The names of 202 persons were established. In 1997, at the place of the mass burial, the wooden cross was installed. In 2015, it was replaced by the stone Memorial Cross, which was created and installed by Mazur Oleksandr Mykolaiovych, the inhabitant of the Bezuhliaky village.
