The population of Yerky village (Myrhorodskyi district, Poltavska region) suffered from Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. 600 persons died, 153 of them were identified. At the old cemetery, there are a lot of places of mass burial of Holodomor victims.
In 2003, the Memorial sign to Holodomor victims was installed in the center of the village.
