Victims: 32

The population of Saliv village (Myronivskyi district, Kyivska region) suffered from the Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933 in Ukraine.

In 1932-1933, there was the collective farm named after Stalin. Its management and active members were the executives of the forced collectivization by the methods of repressions and taking away the food stocks from the peasants. Fodir Hrytsenko and Onysym Pokoshovanyi were dekulakized.

According to the testimonies of the famine eyewitnesses, many people died during two years of the Holodomor. However, only 32 of them are identified. Among them, there are 7 children.

At the mass grave, located at the village cemetery, the wooden Memorial cross was installed by Yu. M. Zoria on his own initiative.
