The population of Dzenzelivka village (Mankivskyi district, Cherkaska region) suffered from Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. The names of 533 persons, killed by hunger, were established. At the old cemetery, there are five places of mass burials of Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933 victims (the map is attached). In 1933, near the largest mass burial, the inhabitants of Dzenzelivka installed big wooden cross, but the authorities destroyed it immediately. In 1933, at the place of the old cemetery (which was founded apparently in 1760), there was created the park of culture and entertainment. The dance floor was built just upon the graves.
