The population of Zahradivka village (Mankivskyi district, Khersonska region) suffered from Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. The mass graves of Holodomor victims are located at the old cemetery, which is situated on the distance of 350 meters to the west from the settlement. With the help of Holodomor eyewitnesses Fedotchenko A. I. and Semko F. Yu. the graves have been found and tided. These mass burials have an area of 0,66 hectares. On November 23, 2007, at the place of mass burial, the memorial monument was installed and blessed.
