The population of Borodianka urban-type settlement (Borodianskyi district, Kyivska region) suffered from Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933 in Ukraine. At the mass grave the memorial cross was installed. At the cemetery, the memorial cross was installed at the place of mass burial of Holodomor victims. In the one common pit, local inhabitants and the prisoners, who dead from starvation, are buried. The corpses of people killed by starvation, which were found along the roads and near the railway, also were brought together to one pit.
