Victims: 809
The population of Kapustyne village (Shpolianskyi district, Cherkaska region) suffered from the Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933 in Ukraine. 809 people were killed by starvation. All of them are identified.
At the cemetery, there is the place of mass burial of the Holodomor victims.
On the yard of one of the private houses, there is also the mass grave of the Holodomor victims. 8 relatives of the local citizen Oleksiy Fedotovych Liubar and the body of non-identified grandmother, found at the road near the house were buried there. In 2008, Oleksiy Fedotovych Liubar installed the monument with the sign “To the Victims of the Communist Holodomor of 1932” over the place of the mass burial.
