The population of Yamne village (Velykopysarivskyi district of the Sumy region) suffered from the Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. In 1994, on the initiative of the head of the village council V.V. Dotsenko for sponsors’ funds, a memorable sign of Holodomor victims was installed in the cemetery.
