The population of Riabyna village (Velykopysarivskyi district, Sumska region) suffered from Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. In 1993, due to the initiative of the head of the village council I. V. Maliar, 2 memorial monuments were installed on the territory of the village council on the places of mass burials of Holodomor victims.
