The population of Hryzhyntsi village (Tyvrivskyi district, Vinnytska region) suffered from Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. There are two places of mass burials of Holodomor-genocide victims. Here you can see one of them, which is located at the end of the cemetery, in the lowland. The corpses of 9 children are buried there.
On November 28, 2008, at the place of mass burial of Holodomor-genocide victims the monument “To those innocent killed people” was installed. Its author is the company “Libava LTD” (Korosten town, Zhytomyrska region).
