The population of the Strokov village in the Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky district of the Kyiv region suffered from the Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. Recordings on the death of 461 residents were kept in the regional archives. Killed by starvation buried in a village cemetery, where a memorable sign was installed on November 22, 2007.
