The population of the Pomokli village in the Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky district of the Kyiv region suffered from the Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. In those years, so many people were destroyed, but they did not die in Second WW. During the Holodomor in the village of 5215 (the census of 1930), more than 3,000 people died. If you compare mortality from hunger in the Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky region, then the highest was in Pomokli. In none village of the district so many have not died. One of the mass graves is at the tract of Tishkov Grove.
