The population of the Mazinka village (until 2013 – Mazynka) in the Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky district of the Kyiv region suffered from the Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. The place of mass burial during the Holodomor is a village cemetery, where a memorial sign to victims of the Holodomor is installed.
