The population of Pivni village (Fastivskyi district, Kyivska region) suffered from the Holodomor-genocide of 1932–1933.
According to the words of the eyewitness Zynovii Ivanovych Maslo, one third of the village population (about 900 people) died of starvation. The mass grave is located at the village cemetery, where the memorial sign – the wooden cross – is installed.
