The population of Pylivka village (Okhtyrskyi district, Sumska region) suffered from Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. In the village, there is the mass grave of Holodomor victims at the cemetery. In 1998, due to the initiative of the village inhabitants, the memorial plates to Holodomor victims were installed.
