The population of the Gayshin village in the Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky district of the Kyiv region suffered from the Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. The place of burial of those killed by starvation is a village cemetery, where in 1994 the wooden cross was set up by the decision of the village’s east.
