The population of Borshchahivka village (Pohrebyshchenskyi district, Vinnytska region) suffered from Holodomor-genocide of 1932-1933. In the village, on the cemetery, there is the place of mass burial of 1932-1933 Holodomor-genocide victims. In September 1993, near the entrance to the cemetery, there was installed the monument, which looks like the figure of the mother with the dead child in her hands. There is the plague nearby with the sign “Unfading memory to 750 victims of Holodomor from Borshchahivka village.”
