The population of Zubani village (Hlobyno district of Poltava region) suffered from the Holodomor gencoide of 1932-1933. Local resident Kumeiko Hanna Otropiivna (born in 1926) told that the cart was collecting the bodies of the dead on the streets of the village. The corpses were buried in the large pit in the cemetery.
